can any body help my pajero is automatic sometimes when it goes to change gear it shurgs, i have checked the gear oil . I will take it to a garage but just thought i would ask in case its somethink silly also dont want to be taken on at the garage thanks

i had same problem, and changed oil to dextron, no problems since, try oil change first, and cheek level with engine running good luck huw 4x4

Taken at the garage this is a Mitsubishi you are talking about, this vehicle is a story teller. They have the most sophisticated diagnostic computer and can show you every detail from new until present. If you don't want to be taken tell them to give you a print out of the diagnostics, I am sure they will be more than happy to do it. That's why Mitsubishi's are best serviced at the dealership.

Do you know you have to dip the gear box oil with the engine running if not then try that good luck. by the way an automatic does not have a clutch it works on oil pressure .

It may make a difference if the car is warm or cold (cold may be normal), also check your owners manual you may have to check the gear oil when the car has been driven a few kilometers and while its still running. if you add some be sure its the right kind

it could be low oil level in auto box.if its low it cant allways pick up low level oil.
