The best name for your son is the one you feel fits him best and is given to him out of love.

A little advice from a mom and grandma...Think carefully about a name for your child as it shapes and molds a person for the rest of their lives.
It's wonderful to want to be trendy or unique but don't lean to much the other way or you could make your child a social outcast or at the least the butt of many a joke.

Classic and timeless first names are the best and if you like one can add a trendy unique middle name

EXAMPLES:

Classic + Trendy --- Michael Corbin ________

Classic Name: Matthew James________

Avoid To Classic : Allister Farley_________

Most of all AVOID trendy spelling don't make life anymore complex for your child then it already is :

For Example :

Jacob not Jakob
Michael not Mykel

well if your not sure the sex then you need both a girls name and a boys name. it also depends on you and your wife or woman to agree maybe also to be named after dad if a boy or name sake. Also to be named after family members I took their middle names and first names and mixed them.In some families on the mens side the fathers took on their mothers maiden name as their middle name for ex. DoSantos is my child's grandpa's moms maiden name his middle and my sons middle name too.Write names down for boyz and girlz GOOD LUCK!!!!

I hate to give it away, but I am never going to name a child this ... I always loved the name Holden. (After Holden Caufield.) I was going to name my son that but I let some stupid people talk me out of it. I haven't heard of anyone using that name for a baby, it's a nice name.
