A flekerl is a step in the Viennese Waltz where the couple dance the 3 basic steps, then proceed to the center and pivot around each other, turning as they go. This is a beautiful step and is used in almost every routine of the V. Waltz. This is Wiki's definition:
"A flekerl is a dance step, most commonly found in the Viennese Waltz. Unlike the natural and reverse turns, the flekerl does not move forwards along the dance floor, but instead rotates on the spot."
The couple can dance this step either to the left, or to the right. Sometimes it's danced both ways with a contra-check in the middle.
Hope that helps!

Do you mean Fleckerl ?
That's the name of a step in Viennese Waltz when a couple goes into the middle of the room and spins in place.

Watch this couple. They perform both Reverse and Natural Fleckerl starting from 00:25 second.
