I've had two now that have the same washer/lubricant problem and frankly, it's getting old. Is this their trademark? What brand should I get to replace this piece of junk??

Plumber for 35 years.Moen has fallen to the way facet simply by fact that they manufacture in china.Delta and kohler are via way better over all.Moen bathe valves are ok however the kitchen fuacets are very destructive.on occasion you will get one that final yet distinctive the time no longer.Im now in retail , the delta grohe kohlers pass out and infrequently return.yet moen boomerangs lower back adequate to word the destructive high quality..

Moen is one of the lower end brands. Yes they pretty much suck. Try American Standard instead.
