I find it hilarious that some people have tens of thousands of them! Do they have no life?

Hello,
Actually I do not.
I got into yahoo answers for other reasons besides the points and the things yahoo sends home for being here.
Why I keep coming back I guess? I get great emails from people (most of them are good emails there are those few that I can live without).
I like helping people and I like getting other peoples take on life.
Yahoo answers is a stress free zone to just come and have fun.

What about you, do you care about the points?
Have a great weekend!

I never thought I would but now that I have so many points I can't stop answering questions because I want to get to level two, besides there are many, intresting questions., some are very humorous and others so silly but I found that you learn a lot also about yourself when answering questions.

Yeah . . .sure why not. I never know how many I get until i get ready to sign off (in 30 minutes) and I see how many questions I answered. I'm a level 2 now and don't really know when I got there!

Only to the extent that I want to be able to do more on the site (like rate answers, etc).
But other than that, I don't really care.

No, but I do care when someone is helped by my answer. I've received a couple of "best answers" that explained why and sounded so genuine. It made me feel good that I helped someone.

I like getting "best answer" just because it makes me feel good. The points don't matter to me anymore. They did in the beginning, though.
