Look for a sticker on the top of the radiator. Ford usually puts a small silver or yellow sticker there with info on it. If it's no longer there any service manual or parts store catalog will have the information. Spark plugs are not always properly gapped when you buy them. Double check them to be sure.

it is the gap between the first electrode and the second electrode this is where the spark arcs and the spark occurs igniting the fuel air mixture
'
this is a critical part to spark plugs without this there would be no spark if the second electrode gets pushed closer or farther away from the first electrode by a valve or something it will not create a spark and you will see a loss in power

Check your truck's owner's manual. Buy the correct Ford Motorcraft listed plugs for your vehicle and they will be gapped correctly.
