I am not sexaully active, so I don't need the pills for any other reason. My obgyn said there was a danger of me developing endometriosis, so she put me on the pill when I was about 15. I had very painful/dangerous periods. The Yasmin helped, but I have always felt weird about taking it. It feels unnatural to me. I feel that I should just let my body decide what to do. For the past couple months I have accidently forgotten to take a few in a row, so my period starts early. I know this is unhealthy. Can I just stop taking them until I can get an appointment with my doctor?

Well, with endometriosis, it's kinda tricky.
I have endometriosis myself as well. I'm 25.
Been suffering with it since the age of 17.
Been on Alesse 28 (another brand of the Pill) since then.
Felt kinda weird myself when I first heard that i had to be on
the Pill. Had the misconception that the Pill was only for girls
(& women) who were sexually active & didn't wanna end up
with an unwanted pregnancy.

With endometriosis, especially even the "mild" type,
periods tend to be very painful & also kinda heavy.

The Pill usually takes care of that problem,
plus also making periods more regular (between 28 - 34 days, from month to month).

The best thing to do is to keep taking the Pill.
This prevents the threat of any future endometrial cysts.
Then, when you go to see your doctor, discuss your
worries & symptoms (if any) with her.

Kevin Trudeau says "Drugs only suppress symptoms, and they cause disease because they are toxic." You can help endometriosis and menses naturally. See the site below about having menses with no bleeding or cramping.

I would recommend talking to your doctor first before doing anything.
