I'm in engineering science right now in university and i'm think of going to General science in faculty of applied science to reduce workload.... After university, i want to get MBA. Would it better for me to keep my engineering now or should i transfer to general science(which transition is better to get an MBA later?)
Also, I'm in vancouver. I'm in SFU and that's the second best university in vancouver and later on, i'm thinking of getting my MBA in U.S. Would this be a challenge? or is the transition alright once i meet all the requirement? Thanks

Why is it that you want to reduce your workload? Is there some temporary personal challenge right now that makes this necessary, or do you just not want to work so hard? If the former, then it might be understandable, but if you are looking for shortcuts now, what makes you think that you could handle a graduate degree?

In general, I think you would do better to stick with your current major. Any good school is going to look at the rigor of your academic program along with the grades. Transferring to something because it is easier just doesn't look too good. In addition, please don't get an MBA right after graduating. You should be working for several years (usually 3 to 5) before beginning the MBA - that's what it was designed for, and you won't get anywhere near as much out of it (and you won't get into a good school) if you try to do it immediately after graduation.
