My boyfriend was shot down by a Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) in Afghanistan this past August 07. Shrapnel went into his right eye and also into his brain. Many pieces sliced open his right arm and got stuck. Since it is a foreign object, his body has been rejecting them, forcing them out of his skin.
Well, I'm collecting all of those metal pieces. And they are damn good mementos.

a seahorse shaped mystical amulet that my Mom made for me! It's small has some markings on it probably rune symbols! it's partly of some green stone and has copper with it! My mom shaped it! A seahorse is said to keep evil at bay! It won't chase evil away though! My spirit is unique but is it a thing?

I have a ten dollar silver certificate. I got it as change at the grocery store! I think it's worth about $300 or so, and I'll probably just hold onto it forever.
