The other day when I went to the bathroom and wiped, there was blood on the tissue; however, I only spotted for a few hours and nothing else. Have you all had this happen to you? I am on birth control (orth evra lo).

Yes, I've had this spotting occur for me before while being on the pill. If you have only been on this patch for a short time it can mean that your body is trying to adjust to being on the medication. It can take up to 3 months to fully adjust to the medication. I would recommend checking with your doctor as well to see what they say.

That sounds like break-through bleeding. It may resolve itself by your next cycle. If it doesn't, your doctor may have to proscribe a different amount of medication to prevent the break-through.
One thing to consider is to take your pill the same time every day, and never skip. Missing even a day can cause you to "spot", but again, that isn't really common. Also, missing or taking them erratically can lessen their effectiveness, and you are on a low does already.

Yes, this happened to me while I was on BC, and then I did not have a period for six months. It is probably nothing to worry about, but if you are concerned then go and see your doctor.
