I am proud of the fact that I am very open minded.I don't believe that what I think or take to be right , has to be always right.There may be some other point of view(s) which is/are more logical and more acceptable.I have been greatly benefitted by keeping such an open mind of mine.I strongly believe that everyone will will gain a lot in terms learning new things/info/ideas which are good for all.

As a philosopher yes I will listen to most arguments at least once.
As an American citizen I try to stay within the law.
As a lover I try to stay within the law and the margins of medical safety.
As an artist I learn the rules to break the rules.

I am open minded when listening I try to hear and understand where a person is comming from and why they have a particular stance on any issue. After hearing and trying to understand I will give my perception of truth and my perception most would call narrow minded.
P.S. Truth never changes just the way we percieve it.

I like to think so. I don't yell at a person immediately the second I find out they disagree w/me. That would go under the definition of a bigot.
