In a way yes, several years ago. Even tho I had my girls here, I was still very sad and lonely. Home life wasn't really good at that time, by the time Christmas rolled around, i didn't want to wake up in the mornings because I was worried about everything I did and if I would get yelled at or get the silent treatment.

Hi Baby, Yes i have had a lot of lonely X-mas since my mom passed away in 1993. Christmas was a big thing for mom, that's when she got my 2 brothers and me together and their families. The X-mas tree was my moms and "NO ONE" could touch the tree, she had to do all my her self and everything had a special place to go. It took mom a week to get the tree done. It was always worth the wait. Mom used real cotton for snow and it was Beautiful the way mom lay the cotton on each branch. It did look like real snow when done. Pretty lonely without mom who was the clue that held the family together. I Love You Mom and MISS you A LOT.

Not in the sense of the word that I have been alone.
This Christmas I have a feeling I will be lonely for something that is missing in my life, that I recently discovered but my loneliness will be my own private hell as I refuse to share it with anyone.

Yes. The first year my kids were with their dad for Christmas I was alone and just didn't know what to do with myself. I always had both sides of the family to our house for all of the holidays and here I was with no one. It has gotten better since then and this year I am looking forward to having the peaceful afternoon to enjoy. I hope you have an enjoyable day also.

Yes, the last 2 Christmas'. Last year I was working over 1000 miles from home and wasn't home the year before that.

Not this year... It is a definite that I'll be home for Christmas.

Merry Christmas everyone!

yes, last Christmas was very lonely....it was my first (and last) year in Michigan with my dad's side of the family.....my children and I were not invited to any get-togethers or anything...we really felt alone. the family wanted us up there and once we got there, they just didn't want us around...strange, but true.

Pretty much every year. Even though I'm w/family, I feel like something is missing. I wish I had someone special to spend it with and go on a vacation or something.

Yes plenty ... since 2004, my husband had passed away in March of that year. I never got and will ever get over it. So I do try every year since, and all my holidays are not the same.

I used to love to cook for the holidays, and since....nothing is ever the same. Thanks for listening, hope your's is not so lonely.
