I want to purchase another carseat base for my infant carseat since I have two vehicles, and I'm due in the next two or three weeks...It's an evenflo journey premier. But the only bases I can find are for evenflo carseats, but different lines. Will they be compatible? Thanks!

Unlike other models with the Evenflo you can use ANY evenflo base.

However with your next seat i would recommend getting a britax.
There more expensive but there the safest seats on the market.

Im a NHSTA trained Carseat tech and i hate to see people compromise safety for money.
If you can fork out that extra money then do it.
Its not worth your babies health to save a few dollars.

The Britax Marathons are $269

Hope this helps

Does the base look like the one you have already? I would look up the contact info on the company's website and call their toll-free number and ask them. You could also try taking the car seat into the store and see if you can try it to see if it latches.

They should be compatible, everything in the evenflow line is SUPPOSED to be. But to be safe, get it somewhere that you can return it for cash, not for store credit.

(congratulations)

I doubt it. We have three vehicles and only one seat and they are actually pretty easy to move around once you get used to it.

All you have to do is go to https://plweb.evenflo.com/replacement_parts.aspx
I ordered my extra base from there
