First, are you a male, and what is your age?
Assuming you are a gentleman,
What is pain in urinary part? penis, pubis, loin pain?
Swelling in which part?
There are many causes of blood in urine (hematuria)
Common Example:
Trauma
Benign Prostatic Hypertrophy
Stones
Infection (UTI)
Neoplasm (Benign or malignant tumor)
Polycystic kidney
Urinary tract infection in male is possible but less common than in female
And blood in urine (hematuria) in a male should warrant further investigation!!! so consult your doctor a.s.a.p.

"Blood flowing" is serious - even a few spots of blood in your urine warrant a medical checkup. With "flowing" blood you should get yourself to a doctor IMMEDIATELY. You either have a serious infection or an injury.

Sounds like a kidney/urine infection! The body is trying to flush it out, that is why that is happening. See a doctor.
