Most Americans make there political decisions based on a 5 second sound bite on the news or the rantings of stand up comedians. These are the lion share of our society and the are the ones that are screwing it up for the rest of us that spends more time looking at the issues than we spend time deciding what color I-Pod to get.

After 8 years of Bush and the neo-cons and the mess their administration has placed the US into, Americans are looking for change, new ideas, new plans, a new direction. It is not a matter of anyone 'saving us', it is a matter of the Bush regime obvious didn't work, time for a change of direction.

Not the average American, just the Americans that believe all the lies that the dems tell them, consider this democratic ploy, give free money, houseing, food, now they are pushing hard for free national healthcare, the dems are trying like crazy to get all illegals the right to get licensed to drive and to vote in our elections , the reason is that keep the poor (poor), show them, tell them how much the dems do for you, and to show your appreciation for what we have done for you vote democrat, in reality they have done damage to generations, give just enough to appease the poor, the outcome is what you see now, the poor have no hope, the poor continually look at the government for free handouts, what you have is a country entirely dependent on the government for everything, the dems want to take our rights away from us, it is them that are fighting to take away our right to bear arms, how nice would that be for them, talk about total power over it's people, hell we would need the government for food, health, houseing etc. and look we couldn't revolt because the only guns in America will be owned by the military and the government officials who passed the law to take away the right to bear arms, the democrats believe that all the laws they pass for the so called good of the people does not pertain to them, remember they are above the law............fellow Americans do not let them take more of our rights away..

The secular progressives (a.k.a. liberals) love and worship big government socialist Western Europe. Even though it's falling apart over there. Just look at the rioting in France, because the government would allow companies to FIRE people in their first two years of employment. Talk about sniveling entitlement babies!

Europe is falling? The Euro is as strong as it has ever been against the fa(i)lling US dollar.
Many international celebrities prefers to be paid in Euros rather than US dollars. There is even talk that OPEC will change from accepting US dollars to accepting Euros.
Europe is falling, huh?

What are you blaming the US for? Europe falling? What? How are we to blame for that?
You know, it's possible that other countries and regions can screw things up without our help.
As for your question, I would say no--Americans don't go around thinking "Liberals" can save them.
Despite what you read here, our politics and our thought processes are a little more sophisticated than that.
