Take a little quiet time for you and God when you wake up thats is the time to lay down all the fears and stres and get a refill. It will set your tone for the day.
do something small for yourself each day. Give yourself an hour of it to enjoy a call to family, a visit with a friend. Realise that by taking care of body and spirit you will do much better as a student with much less stress. I see you are in the top ten nd that won't change. It will just be easier when you have a better balance to keep those grades. Less stress more productivity.

I think you just need to really toughen your self control. i mean, it's not like you're going crazy or anything. but like you have to be able to keep from doing work when you know work does NOT have to be done.
you're probably already doing that though. I think you should just slowly challenge yourself to not working soo hard and relaxing and focusing on the good things in life that only happen when you are at the age you're at so you don't miss out on it and regret it for the rest f your life. try to just loosen up a bit a little each day.
start by not writing down every little detail you need to do. give yourself flexibility on tasks. if they are due a certain date far away from now, put it down about a week or two in advance. don't work on it now. or tomorrow. work on it a week or two in advance.
and set a time each day when all work is stopped. for instance, once the clock hits 9 or 10, all unfinished work is saved for tomorrow. It is "you" time. read a book or take a bath or watch tv. just do not allow yourself to work during this time. and also, in the mornings, don't rush, get a coffee, and start work. eat a balanced meal and make sure you are full before starting. take an hour for a lunch break. have a nice dinner for however much time you need and don't speed through it. then return to your work. but once it hits the "time" of the day, it is all "you" time. then you need to go to bed and get a good nights rest. on weekends, say sunday, go out and do something fun. dine out or have some friends over. attend a party. etc.
week=work. weekend=relax. 9 or 10 o clock= you time
morning=breakfast noon=lunch 7=dinner 11-6 or 7=sleep other=work (which hopefully wont be too much)
you must have good self discipline in order to get any better, though. you have to really WANT what's currently going on to change.
=] good luck.
peace.

Sweetheart you have to make time for yourself.....I think it is wonderful that you are getting an education and it will land you the job of a life time....but what will that mean to you when everyone gets fed up and you have no one to share the rest of your life with.....? I'm sure this is not your intention...but you sound stressed and you need a break....I wish you would have been more to the point about what you were asking....I didn't find the question but I do know this....you have one life....don't live it unhappy and you are the only person that can put things in perspective...Good luch with school I know you will do well but what comes next? A career....you need to gfet your priorties right and figure out what you really want out of life....what is most important to you, and go with it....you do not want to be stuck living your life lonely....
HUGS

It sounds like you're into some serious avoidance there. It sounds like you're using work as a way to avoid many of the problems in your life. The problem is that while avoidance feels good in the short term, none of your problems get solved in the end. And they'll come back. You have control over your behavior. Telling yourself its an addiction is another way of not taking control. If you cannot identify what you are avoiding, you will need to make time to bounce ideas off others about this. Your behavior is within your control.

Everyone is addicted to something.. most people are addicted to many things.. forgive yourself right now.
For clearing your mind, there is:
1. rest
2. exercise
3. meditation
4. prayer (any kind)
5. punching a bag until you fall down or throw up
What WON'T work:
1. Drugs
2. meaningless sex
3. Alcohol
4. Guilt or Regret
Every faith known to man has at one time promoted some form of meditation, even Christians (way, way before the neocons existed, they had prayer beads, used for......... you guessed it). Ancient Jews and Catholics used prayer beads to clear the mind.
Best Answer!
Have sex with someone you love, and tell everyone you need time off. Buy a set of cheap beads (any kind), find a quiet place with no people, and live a quiet addiction-free life for 40 days.
you deserve it.

some "meal substitute" shakes or "capability bars" are chocolate flavored. so which you will try incorporating those into your weight-help plan - yet they the two have a solid volume of energy so they might't be a snack you have too in many cases. Unsweetened chocolate could help considering it fairly is somewhat bitter and additionally you will no longer consume as plenty - it could provide up the yearning. Sugar-loose gum is stable too. If this is the organic chocolate flavor then it could be problematical, yet once you are trying a bunch of diverse wholesome snacks (greens, end result, nuts and so on) you are able to discover one which permits you stand up to chocolate. stable good fortune.

Its a very good thing to put work before play. But try CREATING A SCHEDULE. Make time to be with family; friends; or go to church. You dont even have to spend all your time doing those things. You can still use most of your time to work!
