Helpp! i just bought this new HP customized laptop, because i didnt like my sony one. I got the highest graphics available, but when i watch my videos on windows media player....they are not clear! and i mean ..they are pixelated!!! not bad quality, but my other laptop quality was so much better!! What the heck?? Why is this so?? Can i change the settings? the resolution settings dont affect it, and i dont know what else does!! Please tell meee why its like this and can i change it??? because these graphics are notttt clear...its GeForce8600 or something like that. and i miss my old one :-(

One possibility is that your hardware accelerator is set to slow...

In Windows media player.,

go to tools,> options...

select Performance tab....

then select Video Acceleration to "FULL"

then OK....

Call HP technical help. You should have some kind of warranty.

make sure you have a right driver for it
