Because either a sense of relief or a sense of emotional fulfillment washes over us. Just think about it - learning the truth often relieves all of the tension and dread that one has had bottled up inside them, and I believe that dreading something bad actually feels worse than if the bad thing happens.
If we do not know the whole truth, we can keep going over and over the possible outcomes in the situation, and stretch it out to many more possibilities, and this often puts great stress on people. I believe that discovering the truth about something, good or not, is extremely relieving because we feel the prolongued dread has been lifted from us. I dunno that's just what I think anyway.

Because in the world we live in, truth tellers are so RARE. When you're out in a dessert and a little cool breeze blows on you for but a moment, is it not more refreshing that a constant wind? When people constantly tell the truth, it's just as good but not as refreshing because we're used to it. humans crave rare things, like diamonds and gold. Truth is no different, only more beautiful.

Because we have found out something that is not false. Even if the truth hurts, it is better to know then to live in ignorance. We as humans want to learn and discover. It is in our nature.

Truth is refreshing because lying is heavy and dirty. Once relieved of the burden, we feel lighter and cleaner: refreshed.

Because truth is simpler, and lies are complicating and confusing. Also, lies are a complex problem. When the truth is out, there is no more overly complicating problem. Simplicity is refreshing.

Because "Truth" is seen as it is perceived.
It feels like a pleasure to a sense, when we discover or uncover a piece of it.

sometimes truth brings a gush of fresh air to our lungs, others, it's like someone just threw a bucket of iced water on us.. i hope that makes sense... it's not always pleasant, but yes, refreshing in a way .

Do we feel this emotion when the truth is told isn't it true that most of us run from the truth most of the time?
