today at school, i was hanging out with my best friend and then i had remebered that the popular at school, during biology, asked me to go hang out with her at lunch. so i left my best friend and went to hang out with her. we were hanging out when she said "OH MY GOD i love your bracelet where did you get it!?'' and i said oh thats my friendship bracelet with my best friend ashley. and she said ew ashleys ugly. then she asked for my bracelet and i gave to her, i thought she would give it back, but she didnt. but yesterday during bio the popular girl julian, asked me to be her partner for the discection lab and i was her partner. why is my best friend mad at me? and julian still wont give me my bracelet back!!! how do i get it back!!???

First of all, you don't give your friendship bracelet away--that has a lot of meaning for your best friend--and presumably you. (Ask yourself: would you give your wedding ring to another man--one you just met?)
How do you get it back: tell your new friend you want it back.
Your friend is justifiably mad at you--your actions were a betrayal of your friendship.
Apologize to your best friend; as for the other girl, she appears to be undesirable--not a real friend at all..

Probably because you ditched her to hang out with the more popular girl. Or because she noticed that you weren't wearing the friendship bracelet she gave you. You and her have a real friendship, not the one with you and the popular girl. A real friend wouldn't take your bracelet and not give it back to you. Don't let popularity get in the way of a real friendship.

Your best friend is mad at you because she feels like you are replacing her with the popular girl. Think about how you would feel if she left you to eat with someone else, did not stand up for you when someone called you ugly, and you were lab partners with someone else. See, it wouldn't feel so good would it? You need to tell Juilian that you need the bracelet back. If she won't give it back she isn't a true friend. Apologize to your best friend for making her feel abandoned even though that isnt what you were trying to do on purpose.

Because your best friend is hurt and she feels like you betrayed her (and also probably because your hanging out with a girl that obviously doesn't like her)and it seems like you are trying to trade your best friend off for this popular girl.And as for your bracelet ask could you see it for a second and then slip it back on your wrist and never take it off again!!If that doesn't work and i know this is a little wrong,yank the thing off her wrist and get the clasp fixed later.But only resort to this is she does Not want to give your bracelet back.

Your desire to be popular should never get in the way of your friendships.
And just ask her for the bracelet. If she doesn't give it to you, and it's really THAT important to you, talk to your parents/a teacher.

yeah you messed up. you ditched your bff to get a chance to hang out with a popular girl and now the popular fake chick left you in the dust. stay true to your REAL friends because they will always be there for you. Apologize to your friend and go up the the popular and make her give it back to you!

Ask her to give it back. If she doesn't give it back then tell your teacher or your school principal that the popular girl stole something that was important to you.
