The farm part - no - never really worked on one, and am absolutely sure that work is WAY too hard for me to love. I lived near farms - never lived on one.
Listen to my old man - yes - he was a very intelligent guy - just not all the time, or I might not be doing what I love to do today - play blues-rock guitar.
