All the time, because I'm always wondering what is going on in this world. Why do people kill other people, why do people treat other people so wrong. It makes you wonder, is the whole world like this or is it just the United States. The Crime rate is always up and never goes down. That is crazy. People get kill because they own somebody a hundred dollars. That is a stupid reason to kill somebody.

The dead feeling inside is a lack of love, purpose, and hope in your life. Find Christ. Find the filling of the empty hole you are experiencing. I've felt it before, but now I am alive with Christ. Your statement isn't emo or anything childish or immature like that. It is what many in society feel today. Most don't know Christ. Don't resent believing in a "god". Learn about Christ and learn the facts of the Christian faith. You will find that you have been missing out. Take this or leave this. I hope this helps. Peace.

I got a divorce about 6 months ago and felt dead for about the next three months, then began to pull out of it. I'm still not really where I was before, don't know if I ever will be, but I'm doing better now.

It does get better, and you can take steps to make yourself feel better. Exercise every day, set concrete goals and work towards them, force yourself to go out and do things even if you don't feel like it. Basically pretend you're feeling better and you'll feel better sooner.

Though the discriptive word dead could be any number of slow vibrations such as feeling lonely or feeling dispair or feeling grief etc which I believe run the gamut of less productive human emotions, the production of emotions comes from thoughts. If you are uncomfortable with your emotions why not try to produce other emotions.Faster vibrations such as love ,happy, etc are more productive.
Sure I have felt negative emotions but I don't choose to stay there.Change your thinking and you will change your mood.I believe in mental health not mental illness.Sometimes people are chemically inclined to negative thinking but take heart help is available.

Yes. Different reasons. Death of loved ones and life in general didn't feel like it was worth living for different reasons during my life. Just felt like there was nothing to live for. I am grateful that now I don't feel that way and I thank God for the life I now have.

'dead'.......i'm not sure that would be the word for me. But in a dark state...yes. Probably the worst would be when I switched familys, from living with my mom to living with my father. But i'm just not one to stay in that state for long. It might have lasted a few days. But I always pull myself out of it. Some people can't though...so to those I would say think positive, do everything to help yourself....good luck.

When my father died, I felt like the living dead for weeks.
Unfortunately, I may have to prepare for a similar event shortly..I am older now, but it does not hurt any less.

I went through a very long, painful period of abuse. I felt very dead inside, fairly frequently. I sought counseling, and I'm back to vibrant and happy.

I was desperately depressed at christmas time and felt I had no meaning and purpose.
