I agree, I cannot stand the media. It's just more fuel for the next suicidal maniac.

Anyone who opens fire in a mall is going to be all over the news for quite awhile. That's just the way it goes. I don't agree with it, but the controlled media loves to hype these things up. They're on a mission to scare people so that people will beg for gun control.

These random shootings freak me out as much as the next person, but I also find it very bizarre that they keep occuring. All the shooters seemingly have a history of mental health problems and antidepressant usage. The chemicals in antidepressants are widely known to cause hostility, aggression and suicidal behavior. But people don't want to blame the drugs for the behavior of the shooter or ban the drugs; they'd rather implement gun control and revoke the second Amendment of our Constitution!? This doesn't make any sense to me.

The other possibility to consider is that our government is behind these shooting sprees. I honestly think this could be another CIA Mind Control Op. What they do is get the CIA to "program" a mentally unstable person to go on a killing rampage and then commit suicide afterwards. A person with a history of mental issues is an easy patsy. Everyone will automatically believe that the person "just snapped" and went berserk. And the fact that they kill themselves afterwards is quite convenient as we all know-- dead men don't tell tales.

Just look up MK-ULTRA on google to get a better concept of these operations.

Love it or hate it, this IS the news. Would you have preferred that nobody told you? Eight people that lost their lives deserve to have their stories told. The "media" is also showing tributes to the victims - should they stop doing that? Stop blaming the media for delivering the story - they didn't pull the trigger - they are only reporting it, because that is their JOB. Still - I agree with you in part, and an awful lot of young people should be told in no uncertain terms that this guy is going to be forgotten and that what he did was horrendous and NOT COOL AT ALL and that in a very short period of time no one will remember his name. Also, he was clearly mentally ill - even though what he did was awful and terrible, SOMEBODY should have intervened sooner and stopped him before it went as far as it did. The "system" dropped the ball on this one.

News- by its very Nature, is usually Bad. And the Omaha story is just THAT; bad news. I think our watching this Story IS justified, however- NOT because it's something the young killer wanted (He's out of his Misery- anyway.), but because WE need to figure out how to STOP this sort of thing from happening to people... -Or it WILL happen again, & AGAIN- whether it's on the news- or not! Not looking at something- doesn't make it "go away". Understanding it & DEALING with it- might.

Stop watching the TV! TV is the preferred brainwashing tool. If you go with out TV for 1 month you will see life in a whole new perspective and see what is really going on rather than see what people want you to see.

I had this great professor at Meramec Jr. College. He asked that you knew about assassinations but never asked you the name of the person that committed the crime. I thought that was the thing to do and I agree with you. His name should be wiped from history.

All they are doing is encouraging all the other crazes out their to do the same thing. It's just like with the high school shooting in Colorado. They aired that and glamorized that so much that it sprung up all over the country. All the news does is spread the HATE.
