I wanna buy a new graphics card, but I'm not sure If i can install it myself. I have an intergrated video card. Can I do it myself?

yes. turn off the computer. install the card. restart computer and go straight into the bios. dissable the on board video. now plug the monitor cable into the new video card. restart the computer into windows and follow the instructions that came with the card from there.

Yes! im a first time computer builder, im only 14 years old, and im getting my hardware next week.

i have a lil bit of experience with computers, and i helped a friend buy his new card and installed it on his comp. its really easy!

1. Turn off computer, pull out the plug.
2. Open the computer
3. Add the graphics card
4. Close the computer lid
5. Start computer, install drivers

If you can operate a screwdriver, then yes.

Clean your hands and dry thouroughly. Pull out power cable on the back of computer tower and the monitor cable(s).Open the case and remove the screw on the inside that holds the board in. Touch the case to ground yourself so you don't mess up the card, and then pull the already unscrewed card straight out. Make sure you have already pulled out power cable on the back of computer tower and the monitor cable(s). If any cables are attached to the board on the inside of the computer, remove them. Put the new card in (follow directions in manual) and close the case. Plug back in and boot up the computer.

yea.. you can slip the card in sometimes it will just be plug and play well it depends if you have an updated version of your OS.. sometimes it will ask for installer but its just simple..

1. put in the card
2. turn on the computer
3. (if the installer is asked) put the installer in the cd-rom
4. restart the pc

you sure can. I suggest using yahoo to search for a "how-to" on video cards. their are 3 types of slots, so make sure u have the correct one.

it's very easy. you just need to know if your PC supports AGP or PCI-Express graphics cards.

THe graphics card will only be able to physically fit in one slot so there's no mistake there, you simply plug it in and turn your PC back on again.
