Anyone think Chris Redman now that he's starting wouls turn into Kurt Warner or Rich Gannon?

If he does it will be against all odds for sure.

He had a great college career, but like most, it did not pan out in the NFL. He has another shot, but unfortunately not much surrounding help to look good.

I wish him the best, but would bet against him being a true starter ever.

Probably. He won't be a 1st ballot guy, but he'll probably make it. His lost years at the front of his career because he couldn't catch on anywhere and he had a hole in the middle of his career when he was completely ineffective for 2-3 years. But his Greatest Show on Turrf year and his recent Cardinals years are spectacular enough that I think he'll eventually get there. QBs and RBs have a fast track into the HOF anyway.

No. Chris Redman had his chances. He has been in the league for years and is not good enough to be a starter. He is back up material. Petrino is going with him to keep the media off of his back from saying that he is not doing anything to win.

Actually, I can't figure out why Petrino didn't just stick with Harrington. He is the only QB that they have that has lead them to any wins. Maybe he is not Favre or Brady, but he can deliver the ball down field and is effective with a good running game.

No...there's a reason why he didn't throw a pass in the NFL for several years...he truly sucks!!!!!!!!

Now don't forget that Atlanta have the young QB D.J. Shockley on their roster. He went on IR after suffering a season-ending injury in the preseason. I expect that he'll be given every opportunity to win the starter's job when he's healthy.

Maybe if the rest of his team was worth anything. I don't know if Peyton Manning or Tom Brady could take that team to a winning record.
