For the life of me, I cannot find the title for a cheezy alien invasion flick, which I saw many years ago on video; all I know is that the aliens started out as small, multi-toothed tadpoles, and grew into giant, multi-headed, multi-toothed, multi-tentled monsters. The big ones sorta reminded me of a red-hued reptilian version of the talking plant monster, in "Little Shop of Horrors", but "LSOH" is definitely not the film I'm looking for; the film I remember wasn't intentionally funny, and was deadly serious...

Calling all horror film gurus out there.....Help Me, Please!!!

Deadly Spawn aka The Deadly Spawn aka Return of the Aliens: The Deadly Spawn aka The Alien's Deadly Spawn (1983)

It's generally a sign of a not-very-good film when it has so many "aliases". But, these are the types of films that end up as cult classics! I haven't seen this one since 1984-85, about the time it would have hit a movie channel. I don't really recall that much about it, but I remembered it because of your description.

IMDB summary:
Two campers in the New Jersey woods have their outdoor fun interrupted by the arrival of a meteorite crashing nearby. They go to investigate the crater, but are suddenly attacked and devoured by alien parasites who have hitched a ride to Earth. After finishing off the campers, the hungry space monsters head for a nearby town, where they make their domain in the basement of an old house soon begin polishing off one hapless inhabitant after another. Four young teenagers, plus one pre-teen boy, try to find a way to stop the angry space monsters before they reproduce and literally eat humanity.

Horror film gurus... I like that! It's different from the usual "maven".

Ooh! It's "Deadly Spawn" trivia!
The film's original title was "The Deadly Spawn". However, distributors wanted to cash-in on the rumor that there was going to be a sequel to "Alien" (1978).

The effects of the mini-spawns slithering across the floor in the basement was achieved by cutting a "S" wriggle into the floor, and pulling the spawns along under the floor.

There's an unofficial sequel, "Metamorphosis: The Alien Factor" (1993). In many parts of Asia, it was distributed under the name "The Deadly Spawn 2: The Metamorphosis". Because "Metamorphosis" was made for millions of dollars more, and had much higher production values than 'The Deadly Spawn" did, the producers wanted to seperate them altogether.

NOTE: I haven't seen the sequel but plan to watch for it!

If 2 compared to existence varieties with equivalent criteria meet, that's continuously a good looking good theory to have some variety of defence. what's going to of route take position is that the extraterrestrial beings might want to land contained in the individuals sphere of impression; which means that the Yanks will shoot first and greet later in a area talked about as ''Welcome pleasant hearth''. this can generate an Interstellar war. So i believe we'd want to continuously keep some guns accessible, even even if that's for Guerrilla Survival war later.

....sounds sorta like the butt-ugly flesh-eating creatures in the oh-so gory 1983 shocker, "The Deadly Spawn". Check out the DVD cover at the webpage below; does this monster look familiar to you???...
