how would you feel and how would you treat her.

It sad that as children we don't know what in the world is happening to us, it took me living away from my family to learn how truly crazy life was with them.

With a combination of wisdom and forgiveness.

Wisdom, recognizing mental illness is often biochemical, sometimes related to childhood trauma, and occasionally a karmic issue from prior embodiments.

Forgiveness, in that a kind of impersonal, non-clinging love frees one from karmic entanglements and family mesmerism.

While not moving into a superiority or "healthier than thou" mode, do consider developing a kind humor toward the situation and its specific aspects.

Treat the situation as a learning experience; e.g. ask help at 1-800-232-6459 http://www.family.org which has licensed free counseling regarding this specific issue.

Look to Christian or other counselors who respect her soul, preferably those who have been helping her, and ask of them your question.

You might enjoy "Expecting Adam," Martha Beck, "Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton, and "Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet. They are not directly related, but deal with issues of mind, psyche, and body.

Exploring one's own feelings is something one might well begin, with the 1-800-232-6459 number resource.

kind regards,

j.

This kind of happened to me. My mom was kind of bad with me my whole life and always claimed she was a good Christian and made me feel bad with the support she had from all her friends that she was doing the right thing.

I later realized as an adult that she inherited the cookoo gene from my great grandmother. Everyone sees it now not just me.

I kind of feel better in my situation knowing that most of the things she did because she was cookoo

It may simply mean that your mother is also getting old and is coming into a stage in life that senile dementia symptoms begin.

A girl kissed me when I was a boy.

But I did not know what to do!

My mother slapped me for that.
