my point was based off of that

Besides, They originally came from long ago and MANY have fallowed over the years.

That sounds like something they would have called Galileo. He was also called "The Wrangler" and he was apparently very intolerant of ignorance, repression, and persecution. He was, by all accounts, a real fighter for reason and truth.

Mercury, Daedalus was a mythological character, not a scientist. Archimedes, however, might be a good candidate. He was apparently an irascible SOB, too, when it came to truth.
