Nothing weird or strange about it.It's kind of a notice board or a display in many establishments which reads like,"Thanks for not smoking".Similarly,Yahoo thanks people in advance for gracefully accepting the violation notice ,not protesting and behaving well in future(hopefully).I hope, no confusion now.So,go ahead for one more.

Because its an automated service. One of my questions they deleted and scolded me telling me I need to have an explanation for why I post my questions.
