I think, I may have a solution for you.
When I search I use commas, instead of the usual www., but that does help a little. For ex: you could type in your search followed by a comma, then another word, that can help link you to more options, or not.

Sometimes it does seem like everything I'm looking for isn't out there. That's why I use keywords, questions, commas, even countries etc. or just a plain word.

But seriously, keep your yahoo searchbar and download this site. It has over 100+search providers. It even has access to ALL yahoo, google, altavista etc.

I promise you'll be hooked. I can't live without it. I've found the best rates on it, when I travel.
If you download it. Let me know if you enjoy it!!

Also try the add on, Yoono. It will allow a sidebar on your screen, and give you similar sites to what your looking for.

Mozilla firefox is a good one to download, with lots of convenient add ons, and themes!!

it is always depended on words used. Keywords are key and if they dont match up you wont find them. Not only that yes the internet is all over the globe and what not. But how often are you going to search for a certain subject and get a list of chinese websites or austrailian links.

Information contained in books or news papers is so large
that it is next to impossible to post all that on the internet.

Internet provides only the basic information or head lines.
A few sites may give more details. You have to approach
a good library for any indepth information.

Searching is a skill. I like to think I can find anything, given a day or two. Let me know if I can help.

Precision search terms and metasearch engines (you may design your own, from templates). For the latter, http://www.lib.berkeley.edu/TeachingLib/Guides/Internet/MetaSearch.html

Never metasearch engine I didn't like.

You might enjoy "Expecting Adam," Martha Beck, "Climb the Highest Mountain," Mark Prophet, and "Watch Your Dreams," Ann Ree Colton, for their intellectual stimulation and general practical spiritual advice and insight.

You're most likely searching with the wrong words or there isn't anything published about the subject that you are looking for.
