With that many activities, I'd get her a scrapbooking kit and a gift card for some supplies. You can get them at craft stores like Michael's, etc. That way, she can preserve the memories that she is creating.

How about an ipod shuffle and itunes gift card? I believe the shuffle is only around $75 at target.
Another suggestion would be to buy her some CDs of artists she likes or something she might be able to use with choir. A pitch pipe might be a good idea.

Take her for a Father-Daughter canoe trip. I would die if my Dad spent that kind of time with me. It's not even expensive. Drive somewhere, rent a canoe, and go. Take a picnic lunch and a camera and don't worry about the time. Fish maybe, and then go home and make dinner together with the fish you caught.
Or buy her a sweater and a CD.

Hmmm...
If you guys are close, I think she'll love spending time with you most of all. You could cook meals together, you could take her to the movies or the park, maybe as a treat you could take her to a great choir concert or theatre production in your area.
You could buy her sheet music to add to her music library, snow baby figurines, or take her to a music thrift store and let her pick some things out for herself. Music thrift stores are great in that they have great old music cd's and tapes and a wide selection.
Maybe you could buy her a used electronic piano and piano books? They're all over eBay.

I know that this doesn't fall into any of the catagories above but what about a flash drive? That way she can transport file/homework/music from one computer to another. It's really useful especially for students. They run around $25 for a 1GB.

Music gift cards are alway's good, or CD's of her favorite music, If she is into drama then a really good book from Barns and Noble would be helpful as well! hope this works for you!

JCpenney is having a huge sale on jewelry, you can get her something special, and everytime she wears it, she thinks of you AND that doesnt cost much the sale goes on tomorrow (i just saw the commercial) if that is too much how about a gift card for like $25 or $50 from Visa or Amerian Express that you can get from your local super market. i would still check out JCP, you never know what you can get.

Birth control, just kidding. Try something like a play or musical. If i were a 16 year old girl, I would want that from my dad. Sorry, I couldn't help myself.

iPod Nano or Shuffle both are under $150. A scrapbook would be nice to with pictures of her and all of her family members... Good luck!
