as you drink alcohol your liver has to filter it. once youve had a lot it gets in your blood, 20% of the oxygen you take in is for your brain and the blood gets it there. so alcohol goes in and causes all the brain cells to work slower and fire different chemical messenges. thats why you dont care and you lose your balance because it affects your cerebellum the back of your brain.
