i personally think that deron williams is the most underrated and the most overrrated is tony parker deron shoulda been in the all star game instead of that french fry

i think Tony Parker is the most underrated. the other night on tnt, they said Jason Kidd and Steve Nash were the top 2 point guards in the NBA and then they said the next 3 would be Chris Paul, Baron Davis and Deron Williams, in no particular order... it was a 5 minute conversation and not once did they say Tony Parker! i mean, hello, he was just the Finals MVP! talk about a short attention span! : )

Anybody that says Steve Nash is overrated they don't watch basketball. And Tony Parker is not overrated when u mention the best PG in the NBA people really don't mention his name. I agree Deron Williams is underrated.
The reason I say Stephon Marbury is overrated because he is overpaid he is a headcase he is giving the city of NY a reason to hate him. He has tremendous talent but to me he jus overrated.
Also I think Leandro Barbosa is underrated I do in some way think he is a all-star caliber player.

But Parker ain't overrated, even though I hate him, I have respect for him.Getting Finals MVP is good. Why do you call him overrated?
Most Underrated-Chris Paul, Baron Davis and Deron Williams, all of them don't have an All-Star Game under their belt yet.
Most Overrated-Stephon Marbury, he's also overpaid!

I have to agree on tony and deron.Deron was a guy that could average 30+ ppg and 9+ apg against one of the best defensive teams in the NBA.Tony may have developedhis shot but I have to say that when I compare the previous PG finals MVP chauncey billups,I don't see any likeness.If chauncey was on the spurs roster and tony wasn't.Spurs would finish the playoffs 16-0

i agree with your assessment of dwill being underrated but i gotta go with my guy baron davis. i love dwill but baron has the better #s. more pts, more 3s, way more steals, more rebounds, more blocks, much less TOs, dwill has the edge on assists. yet there is NEVER any mention of davis anywhere except here in the bay area. it is a travesty if he is not in the all star game.
overrated: parker for sure. all he can do is drive, take that away and he barely gets 12 points. he cant hit a 3, hes not really a good passer, he doesnt get many steals, he doesnt rebound. all he relies on is quickness and layups.

yeah damn that guy for being 2 time MVP and being overrated. Making a 20 win team into a 55+ win team 3 years in a row, then leading the league in assists while shooting 50% FG, 90% FT.
And if you give me that "he doesn't play defense" argument, you obviously don't watch Baron davis get his butt handed to him on a nightly basis.
