I know Late Night on NBC is airing re-runs due to a writer's strike. That's all I've heard. Can someone fill me in on why they're on strike, when it started, which shows are being affected? Is there a site or report on this I can read anywhere? What's happening. I'm saddened, any predictions on how long it will last too?

Please provide any info you can. Thanks! Any help is greatly appreciated.

I miss new SNL's and Conan's!

The writers strike's wide ranging effects are only now being realized. It has to end!

Ellen would be affected. Heroes and the Simpsons would be high quality. The shows that sense it maximum are those that place self assurance in modern-day activities (The on a regular basis teach, The Colbert checklist) and different information based shows (actual Time W/ bill Maher, Leno, Letterman, Obrien). those adult males choose jokes and stuff to combine in with the information and this is the humorous tale writers that are on strike.

They are not being recognized for the work they are doing and not getting paid very much. We should all be supporting the writers if we want our shows back.

Just make a phone call to Jay Leno and he'll gladly let you know what exactly is going on w/ the strikes. And don't forget to mention that you were referred to him by the great JOE.

Pretty much everything is being affected except reality tv shows, talk shows and news.

I'm pretty sure it's all the networks, atleast CBS. Other than that I haven't heard anything.
