My kids & I use to run errands for our neighbour every day.One morning there was no answer at the door. She talked about seeing her eldest son up north,so I naturally thought she was there. 5 days later,on my way to the laundry( we lived in a highrise block at the time) I noticed a fowl smell wafting down the isle. On the way back I noticed it was coming from the old ladies toilet window. I knocked but no answer. Out of curiosity I turned the door knob & the door openned! The smell hit me like a tonne of bricks( It was a stinking hot summer, pardon the pun). She'd passed away just inside the front door. It was absolutely aweful. It took me months to get over the whole thing.

I deal with them all the time. The worst ones are the ones not found for a week or so, thats been sealed in a warm house. Awfull!!!! I've seen some really bad ones.

No.
I understand where you're coming from though- I've been my grandmother's primary caregiver for the past couple of years, and sometimes I worry about finding her.
Sometimes she makes comments about dying such as, "Well, at least if I croak, you'll be here to find my body."
It's... um... interesting.

I've worked in nursing homes,so my answer to you is yes.
That is a very sad thing when that happened.
Hopefully I won't experienced it the fourth time, cause three time was too many for me to see a dead person just laying in their bed.

Many. I am a nurse and I have enetered dozens of pateint's rooms to find that they have expired. It's so nice that you are assisting him and also that you seem to care. Sometimes death is a good thing. Don't be scared.

Sort of. I saw a motorcycle accident, and went to see if I could help the man lying on the ground, he had just died. Horrifying, and terribly sad.

Yes, I have. My wife died lying next to me while I was asleep. I had spoken to her just 3 or 4 hours before.
