I'm 45 and was born the year that JFK was assassinated.

I crawled up to the TV and remember seeing a lot of candles and hearing music on the TV and wondering about what that long thing was on the TV. My older siblings yelled at me to get down from the TV.

I realize later that what they were watching was John F Kennedy's funeral.

I remember laying in my carrier when we pulled into a McDonald's (I vividly remember seeing the golden arches lit up), it was nighttime and it was very cold. I remember my dad getting out of the front of the car, walking around to my door and opening it and picking me up. My right foot had been partially uncovered and it was cold, but as soon as my dad picked me up, I fell asleep. I told my mom about this, and we decided I must have been about seven months old at the time.

I remember being in a car accident when I was three years old. I don't remember the pain but I do remember looking down and seeing a large puddle of blood.

When my brother and I were getting ready to get our portrait done at Sears and he broke my necklace and ripped out a chunk of my hair. He was 2 and I was 4. I now chuckle every time I see that picture. I can clearly remember that day.

I remember when I was about 3. My big sister and brother were nailing my long brown stocking to our mantel for me on Christmas Eve. Sis banged her thumb with the hammer, and swore. Mom was angry that she'd swear in front of the baby (me).
