Offer them a piece of gum or something. If it is really bad maybe slide it in nicely. I worked with a guy one time that had really bad "crotch breath". I mean when he talked to you the desire to throw up compulsively came to mind. I think he ended up in jail or something. The sad part was that he had a good looking girlfriend. How in the world she could ever stand it still frustrates me.
