I went to Best Buy to get a movie. They didn't have it in the store. They looked it up on the website and it said that it's $29.99, so I got a giftcard for $32. I came home to order it, and the damn thing is $35. So I'm pissed off, I e-mail them and complain, and they say that the movie is $35. So I wonder what the hell? I go back there and he looks again and says that it's $29.99. Why the hell are they so dumb there? Someone needs to fire these dumb people. Grrrr...I will be calling them tomorow, and I will probably be cussing at them. What should I do? I wasted 2 weeks of my life with these morons already.

Does this look like it's $29.99 to you?

Ha Ha Ha. Your funny. Not funny Ha Ha but funny WIERD.

WHY would you go to BEST Buy's store and BUY a Best Buy's gift certificate to BUY a product on the Web from Best Buy's. SINCE the site price is 29.95 and generally NO sales tax is charged on internet sales, WHY would you do such a thing?

You say you "wasted" two weeks with these morons. Seems to me the moron is looking at you in the mirror. Best Buy's HAS your money and you ain't got no satifaction...and there ain't NUTTIN' you can do about it.

Sounds like Marketing 101 is working-GET the money and solve the want later.

Of course the NEXT thing you are gonna say its that you have NO credit card and to THAT I would say "Why did I know that already"?

No. What you need to do - print this out, take it to Best Buy, speak with a manager, and see what they can do about it. It would be helpful to know if you can remember the names of the employees that helped you in the first place. Don't take no for an answer and if they still give you trouble report them to the Better Business Bureau.

Speaking from a Associates POV, The prices can be different from in store vs Online. If you would have looked online first, Where you plan on buying the movie, You would have seen that the movie was higher than they quoted in store.

You have to also remember, If it is their fault... These people work at best buy... Just be glad they aren't doctors, LOL.

Unfortunately....what may have happened is that when you buy a gift card and then use it ....at some places they charge a certain percentage to the buyer to use the card....I know it sounds kinda shady but it does happen....so, your $30 gift probable at like a 15% charge to use the gift card plus of course there are taxes to pay....Nevertheless I would still call and complain....maybe you can get some kind of credit, or a store credit of some sort.....Good Luck and remember everytime you buy a gift card there maybe a surcharge to use that card when you make a purchase.....

I Boycotted that place for a while, due to the fact the store clerks at the one near me are also "MORONS" & "RUDE"...
Yeah doesn't look like $ 29.99 to me.

I bought my pc there and the guy rang it up for $100 less than what it was and said, that can't be right. He called the manager and she said if that's what it came up as, it's right. He knew it was wrong but he had to listen to her, so I got a deal!!!!

I think it was a sale price , look around and see if you can find it lower print out the lower price then take it into best buy and have them give you the difference, thats if they price match. Option 2 buy it from somewhere else. I never buy anything from BestBuy.

Stay away from Worst Buy and go through someone else. They love to bait and switch and they love to lie to you and practically force you into their extended warranty nonsense. They are almost as evil as Walmart imo.
