why do people always want to know about the british royal family there's more than one you know?

i am sick of the british royal family why won't people talk about the other royals after all most royal families have more money than the windsors i am against the british royals but with the others if the queen came to my door i would slam it in her face

The british are historically jerks. Just look what they've done to Ireland, where people are 4 real. I have no respect for the british parliament or royal family. The royal family really has no power. We've all just read too many fairy tales I believe. Anyhow, the norwegian royal family might be more noteworthy. They don't publish all their scandals and secrets for attention.

That's right, why don't you live our Royal Family alone? I'm happy we have the Queen, and I wouldn't change her for dozen Bushes, Clintones anyway.
Our Royal Family has a long history, don't forget that Britain used to be the Most Powerful country in the world, not least because of the Monarchs we had.

of course there are other Royal Families, and personally I'm very fond of the Dutch Queen & Royal Family, Norwegian, Spanish, Swedish, Jordanian, Royal Families.

And by the way, speaking of Ireland, it is really funny to hear about Ireland, or what British 'did' to Ireland from people, who've basically mass-masacred the Native Indian population. Better look at your own mistakes, before pointing at the others.
As far as I know, Northern Ireland is quite happy to be part of the UK. And Ireland is thriving as a separate state.

Maybe because the British Royal family (see use of capitals) are surrounded by gossip / naughty goings-on / slander / speculation etc etc .... makes them a lot more exciting than ...say the Spanish Royals.

I'm sure the only Royal family that would be low enough to visit you would be the other Royals - the Royales!

The british royal family have more to do with the western world. they have the closest relationship out of all the monarchies to the US. they are still effectively in charge here in australia, although we have our own prime minister, and the same goes for canada, new zealand and HEAPS of other countries.

People only talk about the ones they have some sort of connection with. For the last few years there's been more talk about the danish royal family here in australia than there has been about the brits because crown princess mary of denmark is australian. it's really nice to hear about someone else for a change! and i think she is absolutely stunning and so classy. better looking kids too, than the british royals!

I guess they are more publically noticeable. With all the Princess Diana mess and Charles being the pill that he is has taken a toll on the other royal families that are around. If I were one of the other royal families, I actually would be happy not to have all the publicity.

I don't know what you have against our Royal Family. I have the Queen, she is a nice individual. Its not her fault if the press won't leave her and her family alone. I don't think that money is what makes Royal families influencial or important either.

Becasue people in the in the west tend to think lowly of Kings and Queens. You know it may sound harsh but the USA broke away from Britain largely becasue of their kings and queens. See people talk about what they don't like

Bloody bad don't you think? We Americans especially have no idea what their position is. I think we're just waiting for someone to tell us who they are and why they exist. Charles and whats her name came to Philly and half of us are still wondering why the two care about Philly art and other things.We're intrigued at the unknown, I guess. They seem like a bunch of bored college kids that can't find a hobby to keep themselves busy. Like a bad addiction, they have no rhyme or reason.
