Not all cats and dogs hate each other. Probally depends on wether or not they were raised together. Many dogs that have not grown up around cats will probally think that they are a prey item, just like a squirrel or rabbit. Cats that are not used to dogs, are probaally afraid of being attacke.d

Their might see them as prey or a nuisance. However some dogs and cats get along great. And the dog might feel superior and in-charge. However if a cat was the same size as a dog the dog will be scared of the cat!!!! as cats are stronger than dogs relatively

cats and dogs really do not hate each other. mine get along just fine. a lot of it comes from the classic cartoons where you would see the dog always chasing the cat. i mean if you have a large dog and a small cat the dog probably feels superior to the cat and will chase it. but i really do not think that they hate each other.

they don't hate each other it is fear. Dogs are usually bigger and they scare the cats. A lot of cats and dogs can get along fine and even sleep together. It is the younger dogs who want to play with the cats that scare the cats more.

Some kittens will have a bad experience with a dog when they are young and then be mean to dog when they get older. But most of the time if both animals are socialized properly they get along fine.

Cats and dogs don't hate each other. Cats don't like anything that move too fast. A dog is usually too nosy and will chase anything that runs away.

they dont always hate each other. the majority of the time it is because it is their nature to do this. i no this because no whenever my dad sees a cat her tail start wagging and she wants to play, but something inside tells them to kill it. cats dont really mind dogs unless the dog attacks or come near kittens

Dogs dont neccessarily "hate" cats. Its kinda like their best pal, yes sometimes they act like their a chewtoy but its just because they love the cats, think of it as, a woman going after a handsome man, just different species!!

Mine don't, mine get along great. But I think it's because dogs want to chase the cats and they feel they are in danger.

Hi. There is no 'hate' in the animal world. That is a human characteristic. There are only 'prey vs predator' instincts.
