Not very well.
If you have space behind the screw, use a small drill bit and a dremel tool and drill it into the paint gun at slow speed till it falls in.
If there is no room behind the screw, get a screw extractor bit from ACE or Home Depot - use a reversible drill and extract the broken screw.
Glue will most likely splash on the side of the gun and stick.

Ya know, my husband and I refurbish boats and I cannot tell you how many screws get stripped or are already stripped when we have to remove them. I am not sure about the paintball gun, but we drill the old screw out and then replace it with a new, slightly different size one that will seat itself well in the drilled out area. stay very close to the original size of course, but if the gun is plastic, it may not work. Metal and wood works well with this remedy- don't know about your gun for sure. It is worth consideraton tho. Good luck!

I don't know if this will work on a gun but there is a kit you can buy to remove headless screws. It contains something that screw into the end of the screw and then you just unscrew the whole works. I've used it in plumbing and it works great. The kits are hard to find.

There is a device sold in the tool department of Home Depot. It is where the nut drivers are sold.
There are two small pieces in one wrapped hanging piece of cardboard with a clear plastic cover. The first piece is drilled into the screw, then the other piece unscrews the first piece with the screw backing out at the same time.
Just go to Home Depot and tell them your question, and they'll show you this item.
I wish I could remember the name of it.

check the tool dept. at your local sears store. tell the sales person that you want to see the screw extractor kit they sell. if you can take out one of the other screws from the gun that isn't stripped and bring it along when you go to sears, that will help you to see if it will work on your size screw. i don't know if you will find it listed on the sears web site or not, but that may be worth a try. good luck, hope this helps.
