I havent seen Romper Stomper, but one of my friends highly reccomends it. I HAVE seen American History X and The Believer, though

I think that racism is a natural thing to occur to humans. If they observe something different from what theyre used to, they naturally regard it with suspicion or even hostility. Obviously humans have learned to be a bit more tolerant, but even then, its learned. Not instinct. Only recently have humans learned to more fully (but still flimsily) accept others for differences. Look at Jews. Theyve been prosecuted for thousands of years because they believe something different than others. The Christians had their Crusades and wiped out a good portion of, not just Jews, but Pagans and whatever other religion stood in their way. America had slavery when it was starting out, and extreme prejudice for long afterwords that still continues to this day. Adolf Hitler and the Nazis had the Final Solution and the Holocase wiping out millions of Jews, Communists, homosexuals, democrats, Poles, Russians, blacks, etc, and has also stemmed the Nazi religion (as I refer to it as. Think: there are many similarities between jsut about any mainstream religion and Nazis). More recently, we have our little War on Terror. Thats caused the entire Muslim world to be looked upon with anger and suspicion, even more so than before. Although it may be possible for there to be worldwide acceptace of one another, I strongly doubt it will happen for MANY a year to come, so dont get your hopes up.

Basically, whether you like it or not, everyone has their own internal swastika about something. Im rather non descriminant. Im friends with Nazis and skinheads, but Im also friends with blacks, spanish, Jews, Muslims, and Christians (I myself am an athiest/LaVeyan Satanist. Not a devil-worshipper, a Satanist). Yet, I hold prejudice against stupidity and sheep-like people (yes, religion causes sheep-like mentality, but I always bug my religious friends about it. And, for the record, Satanism isnt really a religion if you dont believe God or Satan exist). Its also annoying when people say theyre not prejudice but they hate Nazis. Thats prejudice

Well, thats basically it. Humans are naturally prejudiced, in degrees ranging from miniscule to gargantuan.

My personal views on it is that it's for cowards. I believe instead of being racist against a group of people based on stereotypes or a few people from that group is stupid because everyone is different. They aren't following the general rule of treat others how you'd like to be treated. They aren't thinking about how they would feel if the shoe was on the other foot. No one likes to be discriminated against because of how individual people in their race act because that's unfair and unjust. Instead of being afraid or feeding into stereotypes they should get to know people and then they wouldn't be so close minded and stupid.

TOTAL IGNORANCE- especially considering that race is only valid as a social concept. Biologically, there are no separate races. So here we are- in a world full of people who are prejudiced against others due to physical characteristics that are also found within their own "races". COMPLETELY NONSENSICAL!

It's pointless and stupid. I don't have a problem with anyone until they give me a reason to not like them(regardless of race)
