I am a nurse and I recently requested to work prn. I was called into work about a week ago because there was an error on a patients CBC. Another nurse had made the comment that I may have caused the error due to my working less. I went through all the documentations only to realize that she had made the mistake and did not initial her error. I called her aside and chew her @ss like a dog would an old chew toy. She is currently under investigation for other causes. She triggered a horrible domino effect for herself.
But, it was my diligence that brought attention to her carelessness. If I am guilty of something, I will take responsibility. If not, I will defend myself.
