if they got caught cheating in the 1st quarter of the 1st game of the season against a coach who knows they openly do it, then how come they are still 12-0

I am not a Pat fan, but they are 12-0 because they are a good team and they have played well taken advantage of lucky breaks.

The Patriots are 12-0 because regardless of the situation they are put in, they find a way to win. regardless of whether you like the Pats or not, many fans would LOVE to have their team at 12-0, therefore they despise the Pats. If people want to question the Pats alleged "cheating," they should look closely at the "72 Dolphins to include Don Shula's illegally discussing the "fins job while STILL the working for another team....not to mention the many players he took with him from that team. Now there is the asterik, oops I mean the pot, calling the kettle black. He's just jealous, look back at his comments from the 21 game win streak the Pats had.

I don't know if they're undefeated record was helped at all by cheating THIS SEASON. No one really knows that for sure, except Bill Belicheat himself.

Now the past seasons, that's a big question mark. How many teams did they have that advantage over where it helped them win championship games?

The sad part is, that I really believe they have awesome enough players on that team that they NEVER needed to even cheat to begin with; but they're arrogant coach put them in that position in the first place to cast doubt.

Another issue is, how in the world can it be confirmed that Belicheat turned over all his spying stuff to the NFL? Who knows, he may have a vault somewhere where he's kept copies of all add'l stuff he acquired on the other teams.

It's a shame he even didn't have the complete confidence in his players to play fairly in the past. Belicheat is a great coach, but a classless piece of humanity.

This question comes up daily, and the answer is always the same - what they did wasn't that severe to begin with. Teams have been stealing signals since the sport began, and there's actually no rule againats doing it. The rule is against using technology to do it, and that's where the Patriots screwed up. BUT - it didn't matter in that game or any other game.

I dont think people understand what you mean, and thath why they are bashing you. You do make a good point, if they did get caught cheating in the first game, doesnt that make it a disqualification and a forfited game. Not saying the cheated in every game, im just saying if they are caught in the first game should be a forfeit really. 11-1 is what they should be

They've proven to be a good team this year, but watch for the Pittsburgh Steelers to ruin their perfect season by winning. Luckily for them, this isn't college football, so one defeat won't kick them out of the Superbowl. Just like three defeats haven't kicked the Steelers out as Superbowl contenders.

They had been cheating for who knows how long - because they turned over tapes of other games. So the answer is cheating is partially responsible - because who knows if they turned over all the tapes, what notes had been made prior to turning over the tapes etc.
