What shade of green? Usually, a shoe of the same color or darker shade of the same color looks great.
A cool green [ mint, jade, pine or forest ] will look good with a black, navy, or charcoal gray shoe; while a warm green [ lime, grass, olive or moss ] will look good with an espresso brown or a caramel.
[ For a summer weight dress, cool colors look good with white, warm with ivory; and both with skin tone, gold, or silver strappy shoes. ]

Depends on what color green it is. A pair of darker red, almost a wine color would compliment it well because red compliments green. If it's a brighter green I would go with maybe an off white. a picture of this dress would make us finding you the perfect pair an easier task.

Flat black knee length boots, with thick dark gray socks that you could see over that boots, and a wide brightly-colored belt with the dress.
