Hey, what about those stains on your favorite underwear? What are they? How did they get there? Why do you have "favorite" underwear? Why don't you want to use bleach; are you prejudiced? Are you wearing that underwear right now?
Steel wool and diesel fuel work wonders for that kind of thing.

There's a spray called SHOUT in the laundry department .
Spray the stain at night then just before you wash the Item. It will come out. That's for the best results. Good Luck

If they're fresh stains... well you can use lots of stuff, like Shout, simple green, even dish washing soap, if the stain is somewhat greasy.... and you can use Oxy-clean. But if all else fails, and they're white, bleach is the only other alternative.

Stained underwear needs to be tossed. Like tire treads (or skid marks), you have to know when to get new ones.
