First of all I've never used an ATM machines. I have a commerce bank debit card that I slid into the commerce bank ATM machine, nothing comes up on the screen asking for my pin (I slid the card in every which way). I only spent about 45 seconds on it so I didn't keep people waiting, but what was I doing wrong? Am I retarded or was the machine messed up?

I went back and tried again... funny thing was it wouldn't let me withdraw money and gave me "transaction not completed" on the receipts lol.

I could be wrong, it's been a long time. But it seems to me I had to use my ATM card one time at a store before my credit union's ATM machine would read it. Call your bank/credit union and ask them. It is possible they forgot to authorize it.

Retarded...NO just joking obviously something was wrong with the machine. Maybe it couldn't read your card. Call the bank. Since you have never used an ATM maybe you didn't read the machine correctly try it a gain.

Is this a gift card that says debit card on the front? If so, you cannot get cash advances from them.
