╚ ™ ╗ - I'm moving over the next couple weeks, so there's not much excitement happening on the home front, other that packing stuff, and throwing out sh!t.
I should have checked my voice mail today, as a buddy of mine called and said, "hey man, my wife still has the flu...do you want her Van Halen ticket?
They're playing here tonight. Oh well, you win some you lose some! I'm not missing much...saw them in 1978, then again in '81.

Pink Floyd - BAP were pretty cool I suppose. But they were more like a very late 70's-80's band. I really enjoyed 70's bands like Thirsty Moon, Os Mundi, Guru Guru, Cornucopia, Kraan, Wallenstein, Krokodil, Gift, Blackwater Park, Birth Control, Grobschnitt, Out of Focus, Kollektiv, Witthuser & Westrupp, Frumpy, Eiliff, Novalis, Yatha Sidhra, Dzyan, Gomorrha, Karthago, and a thousand other German (Krautrock) bands. That's a genre of rock that most people know nothing about. Too bad!

might be Kraftwerk? Or the Scorpions? Can't remember.
I lived in Germany for many years, but I was more into British and American bands... My favorite German band back than was BAP, they sang in a dialect from Cologne called Koelsch, imagine they had the booklet with the translations into "normal" German... but they were so good. I have also learned to like some of the heavy Rammstein songs and sing them in German with my daughters...( they call me Metal Mama now). My eldest daughter likes gothic German band called Lacrimosa.
