I am looking at Duquesne University! I am a junior in high school and my GPA is a 3.6, and I play basketball, have a job, and also volunteer at my church. I also am in my 3rd year of a language (Spanish 3 and am planning on taking Spanish 4 which is a plus right?) Do I have a good chance of getting in because right now, I don't know why but I am so scared that I am not going to get into the college that I want to!!!

Congratulations on your accomplishments thus far! I think your chances are excellent and you will want to apply to several universities, then wait and select from the offer you receive.

It is normal to be worried about not being accepted to the college you want to attend. The flip side of "scared" is "excited." This is a very exciting time in your life.

Best wishes.

You should get into a decent college if you apply to the college within the application deadlines & financial aid deadlines.

You might have senioritis at your highschool senior year. If you dont get into Duq University, you can always go to a community college and transfer. I went to college for 4 years and got a piece of paper diploma. The job market out there is tough for post-grads, but I got lucky.

Yes, as long as your SAT or ACT scores are good, you should do just fine with Duquesne.
