It is legal if used within the limits of the law.

For example...

You install and use it on a home network to monitor the activities of your children while on-line.

You install and use it on a business of which you are the owner to determine what your employees are doing. (Provided your employees have signed an security agreement consenting to periodic montioring of all eletronic communications.)

Some uses are illegal... For example...

Infecting your friends pc with a keylogger to determine a user ID and or password.

Attempting to use the software to infiltrate private corporations or government information systems.

Hope this helps... Not bad software for $59 :)
