and so few people cherish the true meaning of Christmas

Yes, If you have recently lost loved ones.
Christmas has not been the same since 2003.
Dad passed February 5, 2004, and Mom passed April 10, 2005. I miss both of them. There are times I want to call them, then suddenly realize I am unable to do so.

No money, and not being in the christmasy mood until after its over and you realize you arent a kid anymore and its not as exciting, so the whole year youre trying to build up the chirstmasy excitment, but then you realize its december 7th already and you failed at being excited, and you're sad, and you feel too old, and you wish it would snow, but it doesn't, because you live in georgia.
that will only make sense to me, or anyone else who knows what I is talkin about.

There are plenty of reasons.
Those of us who work in retail or customer service or shipping are busy beyond belief this time of year.
Some ppl have no family.
Others have no money.
Some folks aren't Christian so couldn't care about the holiday.
Some say the season has lost it's meaning and is commercialized.

Sentimental reasons. Brings back memories of being with somebody you cant be with now and stuff like that.
